Job Description

An opportunity has arisen within Neighbourhoods, Regeneration and Sustainability for 3 Environmental Health Officers to join our Environmental Health Team on a permanent basis. NRS brings together a diverse range of Glasgow City Council operational, technical and development services that focus on sustainable transport, place making and delivering essential city services. Based within the Business Regulation team, you will work both independently and collaboratively to contribute to the delivery of the Environmental Health service within Glasgow. You will undertake a range of work including food law inspections and investigations, Health and Safety enforcement and Licensing.

A Degree and Diploma in Environmental Health, proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and a working knowledge of the role of an Environmental Health Officer within a local authority setting, a flexible approach to working, good IT skills and communication skills are essential. A current driving licence is desirable.

Annual Salary: £43,956.89 - £51,154.27 on an incremental scale
