SJK Healthcare is seeking dedicated Healthcare Assistants to support patients on busy Ophthalmology wards, caring for individuals undergoing cataract surgery, glaucoma procedures, retinal treatments, and eye‑related acute admissions.###
** Key Responsibilities
*** Support patients pre‑ and post‑eye surgery
* Carry out basic observations & escalate abnormalities
* Assist with eye dressings, drop administration support (under RN instruction)
* Guide visually‑impaired patients safely around the ward
* Provide personal care, mobility assistance & reassurance
* Maintain a clean, safe environment & follow strict IPC
* Assist with admissions, discharges & patient flow###
** Requirements
* ** Previous HCA experience (hospital or day‑surgery beneficial)
* Confident supporting patients with reduced vision
* Enhanced PVG + mandatory training up to date###
