Dietitian – Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services

We are looking for a HCPC‑registered Dietitian to support children and young people with eating disorders and other mental health and neurodevelopmental diagnoses within Specialist Children's Services.

This is a fixed‑term post of 12 months with a shift pattern of 9am‑5pm.

• Deliver person‑centred dietetic care within a multidisciplinary inpatient team.
• Develop and implement evidence‑based screening, assessment and therapeutic tools for young people on the road to recovery.
• Engage in collaborative learning, coaching and mentoring with colleagues across the service.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, including robust, evidence‑based screening and assessment processes.
• Provide clinical supervision and reflective practice within the dietetic service.

• HCPC‑registered dietitian with a background in mental health and/or children and young people services preferred.
• Experience of realistic medicine and person‑centred care in a clinical setting.
• Excellent communication skills, able to interact compassionately with children, young people, families and partner agencies.
• Strong commitment to person‑centred, trauma‑informed care and compassionate support for young people and their families.
