• Provide high-quality occupational therapy assessments, treatments, and recommendations across surgical and orthopaedics specialties.
• Work within a multidisciplinary team to support patient flow and ensure safe discharge during high-demand winter months.
• Engage with patients across a diverse range of needs, facilitating effective rehabilitation plans spanning surgical, medical, and older people’s services.
• Contribute to team meetings and case management discussions, enhancing patient outcomes and strategic planning.
• Optimise patient independence and wellbeing, empowering them to achieve their personal recovery goals.

• HCPC Registered Occupational Therapist
• Degree or equivalent qualification in Occupational Therapy
• NHS or hospital experience as an Occupational Therapist
• Relevant clinical experience within acute occupational therapy
• Ability to work flexibly, including weekends, according to the post’s demands
