Head of Clinical Services; Psychotherapist

Shire Healthcare are recruiting for a Head of Clinical Services (
accredited Psychotherapist or HCPC reg Psychologist
) to work for a very reputable and specialist charity for survivors of Torture - based in Glasgow.

Reporting to the Associate Director of Clinical Services, the candidate appointed will be leading and managing a service in Glasgow who have a team of Psychologists, care coordinators, a centre coordinator, clinical administrators and a legal and welfare team.

The post holder will be a key to driving the innovation of this centre piloting new models of rehabilitation provision for survivors of torture (within NICE guidelines).

The role will include designing, piloting and developing policies, income generation/secure grants, manage and lead the clinical team.

Contract type – permanent

Salary - £68,735 FTE with annual salary reviews and the opportunity to move up the scale reaching £79,732 FTE

• Psychologists applying will be HCPC registered and Psychotherapists applying will have BABCP or BACP accreditation along with:
• Extensive experience working with complex PTSD
• Experience working with refugees and people seeking asylum
• Experience of leading and managing clinical teams within a community or healthcare settingi>
• The ability to work innovatively
