Shift PatternThe shift pattern for this post is core hours.
On one position is permanent, the other is fixed term for 12 months.
Please note the salary is pro rata for part‑time hours.

Role SummaryAn opportunity has arisen for a band 5 registered nurse to join the Dermatology outpatients Department city wide. The successful candidate will be expected to work within a busy dermatology unit within the south sector. The unit includes The Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, Gartnavel General Hospital and the New Victoria Hospital. Day‑to‑day duties include assisting at outpatients clinics, which will include venepuncture.
You will also be covering phototherapy, topical treatments, patch testing and assisting with surgical sessions.
You will also work within the nursing and multi‑professional team to ensure a high standard of person‑centred care within the wide variety of both consultant and nurse‑led clinics. You will be a suitably qualified nurse and will develop, and/or further develop specialty skills and care in providing a high standard of care for patients with a dermatology condition. Prior dermatology experience is desirable but not essential, and you will be expected to demonstrate that you are highly motivated to work within this speciality.
