Position: Registered Nurse - Outpatients - Circle Health Group

Registered Nurse – Outpatients – Circle Health Group

Location: Ross Hall Hospital, Glasgow

Employment Type: Part‑time, 30 hours per week (with flexible shift pattern between hospital and clinic)

Salary: Up to £37,301.00 FTE per year (depending on experience, training and qualification)

Overview: Join the Outpatient department of Ross Hall Hospital, part of the Circle Health Group – a leading independent healthcare provider in the UK. The role involves working on a flexible shift pattern across the hospital and its clinic.

Duties
  • Deliver direct nursing care in line with patient care plans and clinical protocols.
  • Assess patient needs, prioritise care, and update care plans accordingly.
  • Monitor vital signs, recognise changes in condition, and use clinical judgement to act appropriately.
  • Administer medications safely and in accordance with hospital policies and the NMC Code.
  • Maintain accurate, legible, and timely nursing documentation, including assessments, care plans and observations.
  • Ensure all care complies with NMC standards, clinical governance requirements and hospital policies.
  • Identify and report incidents, safeguarding concerns and potential risks in line with hospital procedures.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Registered Nurse (Adult) with valid NMC registration.
  • Demonstrable experience in a clinical healthcare setting.
  • Good understanding of clinical governance, patient safety and evidence‑based practice.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Proficient in IT systems used for patient records, documentation and care planning.
  • Previous experience in a relevant specialty desirable (e.g. surgical, medical, outpatient, orthopaedics, critical care).
