Adult Support Worker

ENABLE Glasgow is a community based charity working with adults with learning disabilities and their carers in Glasgow. We are recruiting support workers to join our skilled staff team at the Esmond Street Advanced Support Service in the Yorkhill area.

The service provides a high quality 24/7 supported living service to 22 adults with learning disabilities who are older and or have advanced needs. As a frontline support worker you will share our passion for a person‑centred approach and help service users reach their potential.

• Support individuals with all aspects of everyday life, including health and wellbeing and home maintenance.
• Assist residents with daily tasks, medication and personal care.
• Work within a flexible shift rota, including night shift positions.
• Participate in the service’s continuous improvement and record‑keeping.

• Experience in residential support work is useful but not essential.
• Willingness to work towards an SVQ Level 3 Qualification.
• Availability to work on a shift rota basis, including day and night shifts.
• All successful candidates must join the PVG Scheme or have membership updated.

We offer a range of weekly hours. Full‑time positions are 35 hours per week and dedicated night‑shift roles are also available.
