Overview
Visualise is a small Edinburgh based charity providing support to adults who have complex support needs. The people we support are treated and respected as individuals with personalised care at the heart of what we do.
Working for Visualise involves supporting adults living with disabilities to have the best quality of life possible, supporting their independence and choice. This can be in our housing support, day services or care s includes supporting people with their day to day life—getting them ready in the morning, supporting them with personal care and hygiene, preparing food and meals, getting out and enabling them to take part in hobbies and leisure activities, using public transport, administering medication, attending appointments, managing their finances and accompanying them to social events.
Responsibilities- Support adults with disabilities to maintain independence and quality of life in housing support, day services, or care at home.
- Assist with daily living activities such as morning routines, personal care and hygiene, meal preparation, and participation in hobbies and leisure activities.
- Support use of public transport and accompany individuals to appointments, social events, and activities.
- Assist with medication administration and basic health and safety tasks as required.
- Support individuals in managing finances and scheduling or attending appointments.
- SVQ2 or equivalent in health and social care (salary noted below).
- SVQ3 or equivalent in health and social care (salary noted below).
- Successful candidates who have passed probation will have the opportunity to work towards SVQ2 or SVQ
3. - Comprehensive induction and ongoing training, including epilepsy, first-aid and manual handling.
- Competitive pay with Scottish living wage above the minimum.

- SVQ2 or equivalent in health and social care: £13.65ph
- SVQ3 or equivalent in health and social care: £13.85ph
Successful candidates who have passed their probationary period will get the chance to work towards an SVQ2 or SVQ
