An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic Band 6 Community Paediatric Physiotherapist to join NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde on a 12-month fixed-term, part-time basis (0.4 WTE) within the North East Glasgow City HSCP. You will become part of a forward-thinking and supportive multidisciplinary team committed to delivering high-quality, child‑centred care. Please note the salary is Pro Rata for part‑time hours.

• Deliver specialised assessment, treatment and management for children and young people with complex developmental, neurological and physical conditions
• Manage and prioritise a clinical caseload, ensuring safe, effective and person‑centred care
• Work autonomously and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team across community settings, including clinics, homes and schools
• Provide education, advice and support to families, carers, schools and other professionals
• Contribute to service development, quality improvement and evidence‑based practice initiatives
• Supervise and support junior staff, students, and support workers to maintain high standards of care
• Maintain accurate clinical records and actively participate in audit, evaluation and clinical governance activities

• Degree or Diploma in Physiotherapy with current HCPC registration
• Evidence of relevant post‑registration experience working with children and young people in a paediatric setting
• Working towards a Master’s level postgraduate study and ongoing professional development
• Advanced knowledge of paediatric conditions, child development, anatomy, physiology and evidence‑based interventions
• Excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with children, families and multidisciplinary teams
• Ability to work independently and manage competing clinical priorities in a dynamic environment
• Full driving licence with access to a car and digital literacy for record keeping and service delivery
