Team Leader

Location: Glasgow
Salary: Up to £15.21 per hour
Hours: 33 hours per week
Shift Pattern:
- 9am to 4pm – 1 day per week
- 8am to 9pm – 2 days per week
- Shifts may change to meet service needs
Brainkind is a charity that aims to improve the lives of people with brain injuries in the UK. - Provide quality social and vocational support services for service users as per individual support plans, in line with company policy and regulatory standards.
- Lead, supervise and develop a team of support workers to meet the needs of service users and uphold high standards of care and professionalism.
- Establish and maintain professional relationships with stakeholders to enhance the company's reputation.
- Provide line management and support for a designated team of staff.
- Travel as required to fulfil duties, including support for other locations within the division.
- Set and communicate high standards of care and conduct within the team.
- Lead and support compliance with Brainkind quality audits and health‑and‑safety duties.
- Contribute to accurate notification of incidents, safeguarding and relevant incidents.
- Represent the organisation at meetings, seminars and other external events.
- Maintain effective liaison with stakeholders and external agencies, including local authorities, families, advocates, GPs, safeguarding teams, DT departments and health and social care professionals.
- Monitor day‑to‑day spending at the location, including trust and service‑user monies.
- Empower staff and service users to maintain a homely environment.
- Competitive hourly rate of up to £15.21 per hour.
- 33 days annual leave (including bank holidays) pro‑rata.

- Previous experience working in a care setting.
- Ability to be flexible and adaptable, prioritise, plan and organise workload.

- Good time‑keeping, time‑management and attendance skills.
