The role requires passing an enhanced safeguarding check. The store operates 24/7, offering a wide variety of shift patterns. Weekend working is a requirement, with flexibility for other shifts.

Responsibilities include:

• Assembling and processing prescriptions accurately.
• Driving awareness of pharmacy services such as Prescription Collection Service and Medicines Use Reviews.
• Supporting the Pharmacist with delivery and record-keeping of patient services (blood pressure checks, stop smoking schemes, etc.).
• Collecting customers’ prescriptions from doctors’ surgeries and ensuring they are ready for collection.
• Completing an accredited course to become a qualified Medicine Counter Assistant within 6 months, then training as a Dispensing Assistant to complete pharmacy training.
