Hours: 30hours per week (Weeknights & Weekends)
Pay Rate: £13.45 per hour

At Real Life Options, we provide person-centred support that empowers people to live life on their own terms. This role is based in supported accommodation, where you’ll be providing one-to-one support for an adult with autism, a learning disability, and communication difficulties. The individual is non-verbal, uses Makaton, and may display some challenging behaviour.

You’ll play a vital role in helping them lead a fulfilling life, from assisting with daily routines to supporting their physical, emotional, and social wellbeing. This is a great opportunity to join an experienced and friendly team and make a genuine difference every day.

• Provide personal care, including support with bathing, dressing, and toilet assistance
• Administer medication safely and accurately
• Prepare meals of the person’s choice and support with eating where required
• Support with household tasks, cleaning, laundry, and organising repairs
• Support and encourage involvement in community activities and daily routines
• Build trusting relationships with the person, their family, and external professionals
• Accompany and support the person to attend healthcare and other appointments
• Maintain clear and accurate written records of support provided
• Follow and contribute to individualised support plans and risk assessments
• Work confidently as part of a team and independently during lone working shifts
• Participate in sleepover shifts as part of a 24-hour rota

• Willing to learn and develop, especially around autism, communication, and behaviour

You don’t need experience – just the right attitude, willingness to learn, and a passion for supporting others.

• Must be able to work as part of a team and in a lone working capacity
• Enhanced PVG required (we’ll support your application)
• Ideally based in the north/northwest Glasgow area
• Open to both male and female applicants

• £13.45 per hour
