Support Worker, Community Health

Corbenic Camphill Community is a unique residential community supporting adults with learning disabilities to live meaningful, fulfilling lives. As a Support Worker, you’ll play a key role in providing compassionate, person-centred support that enables residents to thrive, achieve their goals and enjoy everyday life.

• Provide high-quality, person-centred care and support to residents, promoting their dignity, independence, wellbeing and individual choices.
• Support residents with daily living, personal care, communication, activities and community involvement.
• Assist with medication, care planning, risk assessments and safeguarding in line with Corbenic policies and regulatory requirements.
• Support residents to attend appointments, workshops and activities, encouraging participation and independence.
• Help create a warm, welcoming home environment by contributing to household tasks such as cooking, cleaning and laundry.
• Support the daily running of the household, including residents’ cultural, social and spiritual lives, in line with the Camphill ethos.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, volunteers and the wider community to ensure residents receive consistent and compassionate support.
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to ongoing improvements in the care and support provided.

• Experience working in any care role
• Relevant Qualification (SVQ in Health & Social care or equivalent)
• Relevant Care training
• SSSC membership
• Full drivers’ licence (manual)
