Our Cross Reach Counselling and Recovery team is a values-led organization committed to providing high‑quality therapeutic support to individuals facing emotional and psychological challenges. As a Volunteer Counsellor with the Bluebell Perinatal Service you will offer professional counselling services to clients and benefit from the necessary training and supervision provided by the team.

Responsibilities- Provide professional counselling services to clients within the Bluebell Perinatal Service.
- Discuss, with the team, the number of clients you will see and the associated case work.
- Attend group supervision sessions and complete required case documentation.
- Meet the agreed number of clinical hours you volunteer for.
- Completed a diploma in counselling or currently enrolled in a counselling diploma and have completed your readiness to practice.
- For the perinatal services, completed a minimum of 50 clinical hours.
- Completed an ACTO‑approved online training course if providing online client sessions.
- Provide the name and contact details of an external supervisor.
Applicants must be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme and undertake the necessary vetting checks. You will also be required to be registered with SSSC. All practitioners are either qualified and registered with a Professional Standards Authority (PSA) recognised professional body (e.g., BACP, COSCA, BAAT, UKCP) or are in the process of gaining their qualification. The organization adheres to COSCA’s Statement of Ethics and Code of Practice.
