3) to join our Outpatient and Pre-Operative Assessment team within NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde. Working alongside our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, person-centred care while supporting patients throughout their healthcare journey. This role does not meet the eligibility criteria for a Skilled Worker visa or a Health and Care Worker visa. NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHSGGC) is unable to provide candidates or employees with a Certificate of Sponsorship (COS).
Duration, Location, and Working Pattern:- Glasgow Royal Infirmary
- 08:00 to 16:00 shift pattern
- Part-time, permanent
- Please note the salary is Pro Rata for part-time hours
- Deliver high-quality patient care in support of Registered Nurses within the Outpatient and Pre-Operative Assessment service
- Assist patients with activities of daily living while promoting dignity, comfort and wellbeing
- Record and report patient observations accurately, maintaining clear and up-to-date patient records
- Recognise and report changes in a patient's condition to senior nursing staff promptly and appropriately
- Maintain a safe, clean and supportive environment for patients, visitors and colleagues
- Support the effective management of resources, equipment and clinical supplies within the department
- Develop positive relationships with patients, relatives and multidisciplinary team members to enhance the patient experience
- Completed NICHE programme or hold SVQ Level 3 in a relevant healthcare discipline
- Previous experience working within an outpatient or healthcare environment
- Caring, compassionate and patient-focused approach to delivering care
- Ability to prioritise workload effectively and work independently when required
- Strong verbal and written communication skills together with good literacy and numeracy skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team in a busy clinical setting
- Confidence using clinical systems, maintaining accurate records and handling information confidentially
