We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Support Worker to join our Day Service team in Glasgow. In this role, you will support adults with a range of disabilities and varying support needs. You will play a key part in promoting independence, wellbeing, and social inclusion within a safe, supportive, and engaging environment.
Key Responsibilities - Support Worker- Provide high-quality, person-centred support to adults with disabilities in a day service setting.
- Assist individuals with daily activities, including personal care (where required), medication administration, mealtime assistance, and community outings.
- Empower service users to develop life skills, confidence, and independence.
- Encourage and facilitate participation in recreational, educational, and social activities.
- Act as a designated Key Worker, maintaining accurate records and compiling robust risk assessments and care plans.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, families, and external healthcare professionals.
- Promote safeguarding, dignity, choice, and respect at all times.
