The role:The post holder will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to undertake a wide range of clinical treatments, patient care rounding needs, Front Loading treatments such are cannulation and venepuncture and undertaking ECG.
The post holder will also participate in the general day to day tasks of the Emergency Department and our Minor Injury Units based at the QEUH site and the New Victoria Minor Injuries Unit. This will be a rotational post and the applicant must be prepared to work in ED and both of our Minor Injury units as part of their role.
We want our applicants to show they have excellent communication and organisational skills, awareness of basic nursing care needs for patients and support the nursing team and senior nursing team when required. Experience at Band 3 level is essential and NHS experience is preferable and a good awareness of Emergency Care and Minor Injuries is desirable for these posts.
