Our fantastic team in Hogganfield Loch are on the lookout for compassionate and creative individuals with a positive attitude to join them as Support Practitioners
.

We're looking for enthusiastic, caring and dedicated Female Support Practitioners to join an exciting new team supporting two young ladies as they take the amazing step of moving into their very first home together!

This is more than just a support role - it's an opportunity to be part of an exciting new chapter and help two young ladies build confidence, independence and a fulfilling life within their new community.

Driving is essential. You'll ideally have business insurance and be willing to use your own vehicle to support community activities and outings until the young ladies get her own mobility car later in the year.

Due to the nature of this role, we can only accept applications from Female applicants who hold a full UK driver's license.

The Role:

Both young ladies require full support with all aspects of daily living, and you'll play an important role in helping them:

  • Settle into and enjoy their new home
  • Develop confidence and independence
  • Build connections within their local community
  • Discover meaningful activities, hobbies and interests
  • Get out and about in the local and wider community
  • Achieve personal goals and make the most of everyday opportunities

The service will provide 24/6 support, including day support and waking-night shifts, so we're looking for people who can become part of a consistent, supportive and positive team.

The Richmond Fellowship Scotland provides personalised and outcome-focused support to over 2800 individuals in their own homes across Scotland, making us the country's largest provider of social care. We support individuals with a variety of different needs such as physical and/or learning disabilities, ongoing mental health issues, alcohol or substance abuse and autism. Some of the people we support can present challenging behavior or require a high level of personal care.
