RWWCommunity Mental Health Support Worker

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Community Mental Health Support Worker to join the Cowal and Bute Community Mental Health Team. You will work closely with the wider multidisciplinary team supporting individuals experiencing a range of mental health difficulties within the community setting.

The successful candidate will support the delivery of safe, person-centred care and assist service users to achieve identified recovery goals and maintain independence within their local community. Duties will include supporting care plans, engaging individuals in therapeutic and recovery-focused activities, monitoring wellbeing, and working collaboratively with service users, carers, and partner agencies.

The post requires the ability to work effectively as part of the wider multidisciplinary team while also being confident to work independently under the supervision of registered practitioners. You should possess good interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrate compassion and empathy, and have a commitment to partnership working and recovery-focused practice.

Candidates should be self-motivated, organised, and able to respond flexibly to the needs of the service.
