Our leading research pushes the boundaries of what we know about good end-of-life, and our campaigns fight for a world where everyone gets to have the best possible quality of life while living with an illness they’re likely to die from.

The care and support we provide is highly valued by the people we care for and their loved ones, but at present we are only reaching around 10% of dying people at the end of life. Right now, one in four people in the UK with a terminal illness, do not get the care or support they deserve at the end of their lives.

Salary:

Marie Curie Clinical Pay Scale Band £26,696 - £28,988 pro rata (aligned with AFC) + Island Allowance and generous enhancements which include
44% x your basic salary per hour paid for Saturdays & weekday night duty (8pm to 6am) 88% x your basic salary per hour paid for Sundays and Public Bank Holidays

Contract:

Permanent 27 hours per week (3 nights a week across 7 days a week)

Whatwe’relooking for:

Experience in a health or social care setting, ideally with palliative or end-of-life care

NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care (or willingness to work towards it)

A kind, empatheticapproachand excellent communication skills

Ability to support personal care, mobility, nutrition, and comfort needs

Willingness to work flexibly, including nights and weekends

Commitment to upholding dignity, respect, and patient choice
