As a Pharmacy Dispenser, your duties may include:

Assist qualified pharmacy staff with the accurate preparation, labelling and dispensing of prescriptions while following established procedures.

• Check incoming medication deliveries.
• Ensure medicines are stored appropriately.

• Help monitor stock levels and identify shortages.

Provide friendly and professional service to patients, answer straightforward enquiries and refer complex medical or medication-related questions to the qualified pharmacist.

Support the pharmacy with tasks such as:

• Processing transactions
• Data entry

Help maintain a clean, organised and efficient dispensing area while ensuring pharmacy procedures and quality standards are followed.

Candidates should ideally have the following:

At least one year of pharmacy experience is required. A recognised dispensing qualification would be advantageous.

The role requires a high level of accuracy when handling prescriptions, medication labels, documentation and patient information.

Strong written and verbal communication skills are important when dealing with patients, colleagues and other healthcare professionals.
