We are seeking an experienced clinical psychologist/ family therapist to join NELFT well establised core CEDS team. The role is fixed term for 10mths to provide maternity leave cover. This role supports the delivery of high-quality patient care to children and young people with an eating disorder. The post holder will work closely with MDT colleagues to ensure services run smoothly and efficiently.

• Deliver day-to-day specilaist psychological interventions to CYP with an eating disorder.
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to support service delivery.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with Trust policies.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to service improvement initiatives.

We are looking for a skilled pschologist / family therapist to join our highly skilled, dedicated and friendly team to work primarily with children and young people and their family and carers.

We are seeking an individual who has an interest in working in eating disorders and is passionate about delivering good quality, patient-led, care to young people and families.

The post holder will be responsible for managing their own workload, prioritising tasks effectively, and ensuring deadlines are met. They will be expected to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and a commitment to high standards. The role may involve working across multiple sites and requires excellent communication and organisational skills.

NELFT place a great deal of importance on new starters being properly welcomed and inducted into the Trust. All new starters will join the Trust on the first Monday of each month and will undertake a comprehensive induction of up to two weeks which will include mandatory training, systems training and the allocation of equipment. As part of the process new starters will have the opportunity to also meet the executive team, senior managers and attend a number of drop-in sessions focusing on engagement, health and wellbeing and key processes.

The induction will be held at our head office in Rainham, Essex.

This post will be subject to a probationary period. Internal applicants are exempt from the probationary period (unless you are an internal applicant currently part way through a probationary period or currently a bank member of staff).

This post also attracts payment for High Cost Area Supplement of 15% of the basic salary (with a minimum of £4,870 to a maximum of £6,137 p.a. pro rata for part time).
