Working Hours / Shifts40 hours per week, across 5 days.
Start and finish times are 7.40am to 4.20pm Monday and Saturday, 7am to 3pm Tuesday to Friday and 9.40am to 5.20pm on a Saturday. Rotas are provided in advance on a rolling basis, giving you visibility of your working pattern ahead of time, although rotas are subject to change depending on support needed for cover.
Requirements- Vaccinated against Hepatitis B or willing to get it following a successful interview stage.
- Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check required in line with Care Quality Commission guidelines.
- Legal right to work in the UK for a minimum of 12 months from the application date.
- No visa sponsorship offered at the point of hire.
This role is responsible for ensuring customers have an excellent experience from the moment they enter our clinic, taking blood samples from both private and corporate clients. This is a varied role that may also include the following responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive client appointments, including blood and urine sample collection, personal health measurements, and data entry into our Patient Information Systems (PIS).
- Demonstrate sensitive communication to ensure client understanding and consent.
- Maintain accurate records in PIS, uploading all relevant documentation.
- Represent the company professionally at offsite events and appointments.
- Engage in upselling and cross-selling at our private health clinic.
- Proactively drive sales and exceed targets.
- Complete company forms, specimen labelling, and laboratory test order forms accurately.
- Demonstrate high IT literacy to manage various software systems and daily tasks.
- Previous Phlebotomy experience and certificate or equivalent training.
- Confidence using IT programmes.
- Flexibility with working hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Flexibility to work from offsite locations at least once per month.
- Strong communication skills.
- Right to work in the UK without visa sponsorship.
- Experience in a private healthcare setting.
- Experience in customer service.
- 2 years experience in Phlebotomy.
- Sales / Retail experience.
