Patient Service Administrator
Glasgow Hospital |Reception | Permanent | Part Time | Monday - Sunday Shifts
£25,545 pro rata, per annum depending on experience
15 hours per week
Shifts:
Monday – Saturday between 6:30am-9:30pm & Sunday 8am-8pm

As a Patient Service Admin at our Glasgow Hospital, you'll have great communication, IT and keyboard skills. You're also able to explain sensitive or complicated information in a way that's clear, sympathetic and easy to understand. Ideally, you have experience of working in healthcare administration or on reception.
As a Patient Services Administrator, you will:- Help people feel comfortable when they visit your department
- Use your empathy and customer service skills to build positive relationships
- Answer the phone, deal with enquiries and book appointments
- Welcome patients in person, directing them to the appropriate changing or waiting rooms
- Work closely with colleagues to ensure the department runs smoothly
- Prepare clinical paperwork, referral forms, charge sheets, and terms and conditions

This year, we embarked on phase three of our multi-million pound refurbishment, adding state of the art equipment like our Mako robotic arm for orthopedic surgery and a new ambulatory theatre. We have a special focus in the areas of orthopedics, spinal surgery, ophthalmology, weight loss surgery and cosmetic treatment.
