Please note that NPC is a wholly owned subsidiary of Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. The successful applicant will be an employee of the subsidiary and not Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust.

Whilst appointees will have a base practice within NPC, they may be asked to work at other practices across our group. We do however limit this as much as possible as we appreciate continuity is vital to effective primary care.

Amble and Broomhill are looking for a Salaried GP to work part time at our practice working across both Amble and Broomhill sites.

We are looking for a GP who can commit to working an average of 6 sessions per week over a 6-month period
. Sessional requirements may vary from week to week in line with practice demand, including periods such as school holidays, Christmas and other times when additional clinical capacity is required.

As a GP Practice which is part of Northumbria Primary Care Ltd (NPC), we work with flexibility and independence to run the surgery based on what is best for our patients and staff, and additionally we have the regular and consistent support of the management team to help us to focus on what is clinically important.

As a Salaried GP the post holder will be a key clinician within the team. A job plan will be agreed with you to provide general medical services and deal with a wide range of health needs in a primary care setting.

NPC is a pioneering partnership with local GPs and now manages several GP practices with around 120,000 registered patients in Northumberland and North Tyneside.
