Pharmacy Technician

Our pharmacy specialist pharmacy technician plays a vital role in improving patient outcomes through the safe and effective use of medicines. Working closely with clinical pharmacists and multidisciplinary ward teams, you will help deliver a high quality medicines optimisation service across Health Care Jersey.

In this varied and rewarding role, you will support patients throughout their hospital journey by undertaking medicines reconciliation on admission and discharge, assessing patients' own medicines, dispensing and accuracy checking medication, providing medicines counselling, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless, patient centred care.

You will also have the opportunity to contribute to service development, support quality improvement initiatives, and mentor pharmacy technicians undertaking medicines optimisation and accuracy checking accreditations.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated pharmacy technician with strong clinical, communication, and organisational skills who is passionate about delivering outstanding patient centred care within a hospital environment.
