. We are looking for a friendly, reliable and motivated Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice to join a busy community pharmacy team. This is a great opportunity to earn while you learn, gaining hands‑on experience in a healthcare environment while working towards a recognised apprenticeship qualification.
GCSEs at A-C or 4-9 or equivalent, in Maths and English desired but not essential as can be provided as part of the course.
Training to be ProvidedPharmacy Services Assistant Level 2 (GCSE) and Functional Skills if required.

About the role
As a Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice, you will support the day‑to‑day running of the pharmacy, helping customers and working closely with the pharmacy team to ensure safe and efficient service.
You will complete a Level 2 Pharmacy Services Apprentice Apprenticeship alongside your role, with full training and support provided.
Key duties include:
- Supporting customers at the medicines counter and responding to queries
- Assisting with the preparation and supply of prescriptions (under supervision)
- Handling stock, deliveries and maintaining accurate records
- Using pharmacy systems to process prescriptions and sales
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, health & safety and confidentiality
- Working as part of a team to ensure excellent customer service

- Basic IT skills
No previous pharmacy experience is required full training is provided.

Typically 15 months - Training delivered alongside your job through blended learning
- Apprentices must be able to commit to contracted working hours and guided learning hours
