RoleWe are looking for an experienced HR Adviser with a strong employee relations background to join our HR team. This is a hands-on role, supporting managers across the business with pragmatic, commercially focused HR advice while ensuring best practice and legal compliance. You will play a key role in maintaining positive employee relations, supporting performance, and embedding our values across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality HR advice and guidance on employee relations matters, including disciplinaries, grievances, investigations, performance management and absence management.
- Coach managers to confidently and effectively manage people issues in line with company values and employment law.
- Manage ER cases end to end, ensuring fair, consistent and timely outcomes.
- Interpret and apply HR policies, ensuring consistency and compliance across the business.
- Support organisational change activities, including consultations and restructures where required.
- Maintain accurate and confidential HR records and case documentation.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the HR function.
- Proven experience in an HR Adviser role, with significant exposure to employee relations casework.
- Strong working knowledge of UK employment law.
- Professional, credible and confident communicator, able to influence at all levels.
- Solutions-focused with sound judgement and a high level of integrity.
- Well organised, resilient and comfortable managing multiple cases.
- CIPD Level 3 or Level 5 qualification (or working towards) is desirable.
