Payroll Assistant (Hybrid)

I am seeking a Payroll Assistant to join our well‑established client based in Glasgow & their dynamic payroll team. This is an amazing opportunity for someone with a finance background who thrives in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment.

This role offers a Hybrid combination of in office and at home‑based days - as well as a range of positive benefits.

• Process weekly payrolls and related invoicing.
• Manage statutory deductions and perform manual payroll calculations.
• Generate regular payroll reports.
• Respond to payroll queries from employees and internal teams.
• Maintain accurate payroll records and systems.
• Administer statutory payments (SSP, SMP, etc.).

• Confident communicator, able to handle payroll queries professionally.
• Problem‑solving mindset, comfortable managing payroll complexities.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, and payroll software.
• Experience with weekly or high‑volume payrolls is desirable, but not essential.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
