Are you an experienced Payroll Administrator looking to join an organisation where your work truly makes an impact?

We are seeking a detail-driven payroll professional to support the delivery of an accurate, compliant and high-quality payroll and employee benefits service within a large, complex organisation.

You will play a key role in delivering a reliable and efficient payroll service, ensuring full compliance with PAYE, National Insurance, pension regulations, statutory payments (SMP, SPP, SSP) and GDPR requirements. You’ll also support the development of modern HR & Payroll systems, helping to streamline processes and enhance service delivery through better use of technology.

• Process salary and benefit payments accurately and on time
• Maintain precise employee records including salary, absence, pensions and statutory leave
• Support payroll reporting and preparation for pay runs
• Ensure accuracy across sick pay, pensions, statutory payments and deductions
• Liaise with employees and managers to resolve payroll queries professionally
• Manage external payments including union subscriptions, salary sacrifice schemes and other deductions
• Assist with employee and manager self‑service enhancements
• Provide payroll data analysis and reporting to support organisational objectives
• Ensure adherence to payroll legislation and employment terms
• Support internal controls, audit processes and GDPR compliance

• Proven experience in a similar role
• Strong working knowledge of payroll legislation, PAYE, NI and pension regulations
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
• Confident communicator with strong customer service skills
