A leading financial services organisation is seeking a Talent Manager to help shape and deliver its talent strategy across the business, with a particular focus on succession planning and leadership development.

This is a highly visible role, partnering closely with senior stakeholders to strengthen leadership capability, identify future talent, and build robust succession pipelines across key business areas. The position offers the opportunity to influence long-term organisational capability within a complex, evolving environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and evolve succession planning frameworks across the organisation
  • Partner with senior leaders to identify critical talent and future leadership capability needs
  • Design and deliver leadership development initiatives for emerging and senior leaders
  • Facilitate talent reviews and calibration discussions across business functions
  • Build talent pipelines for business-critical and leadership roles
  • Use talent and workforce data to provide insight and support strategic decision‑making
  • Coach and support leaders on talent and development best practice
  • Drive initiatives focused on internal mobility, retention, and high‑potential development
  • Collaborate closely with HR Business Partners and wider People teams to align talent strategy to business priorities
About You
  • Experience with in Talent Management, Leadership Development, Succession Planning, or Organisational Development within a complex organisation
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and challenge senior leaders
  • Experience designing and embedding talent and leadership frameworks
  • Commercially minded with the ability to balance strategic thinking and operational delivery
  • Strong communication, facilitation, and relationship‑building skills
  • Comfortable working with talent data and insights to inform decision‑making
  • Financial Services or broader regulated industry experience would be advantageous
