Recruiter / Talent Acquisition, Tech / IT Recruiter
We're looking for an experienced recruiter to join us for an initial four‑month fixed‑term contract supporting a busy and evolving hiring agenda. There may be potential to extend beyond the initial term, depending on business needs. The role will suit someone who enjoys being close to the business, solving hiring challenges and building credibility with stakeholders.
The workload is likely to have a strong technical focus, particularly across engineering and related skill sets, but the role offers exposure to a broader mix of hiring activity.
What you'll be doing- Manage end‑to‑end recruitment across a range of vacancies, partnering with hiring managers and HR colleagues to understand hiring needs, shape effective attraction strategies and deliver strong hiring outcomes.
- Bring insight, challenge thinking when needed and help leaders navigate a competitive talent market.
- Perform direct sourcing, proactively identifying and engaging talent using market knowledge, creativity and persistence to build quality pipelines.
- Handle straightforward and complex hiring challenges, including roles that require discretion, careful stakeholder management and a strategic approach to market engagement.
- Contribute ideas and improvements to enhance recruitment effectiveness, efficiency and candidate focus.
- Experience recruiting across the UK, Ireland and Europe.
- Track record of successfully hiring technical, engineering or hard‑to‑find talent.
- Confidence partnering with hiring managers and senior stakeholders.
- Strong direct sourcing and talent mapping capability.
- Capability to work at pace without sacrificing quality.
- Good judgement, with the confidence to challenge constructively when needed.
- Curious mindset and willingness to approach problems differently.
- Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships both virtually and face‑to‑face.
