Energy People Business Partner – Scotland
Reporting to the Head of People (Energy) and working as a trusted partner to leaders within our Energy sector, you will support the delivery of high‑quality people services and help ensure our people activities land effectively and consistently.
What You’ll Do- Build strong, trusted relationships with managers, offering clear, practical, legal people advice
- Support delivery of core people processes including onboarding, employee relations, performance, talent and development
- Provide guidance on policies, employment legislation, and best practice
- Partner with leaders to improve capability, engagement, and wellbeing within their teams
- Support change initiatives, workforce planning activity, and organisational development projects
- Use data and insight to identify trends, risks, and opportunities to improve employee experience
- Collaborate with People Divisional Team to support the implementation of people solutions in a consistent manner
- Contribute to culture‑building activity including engagement, inclusion, and recognition initiatives
- Experience in a People Partner role
- Strong working knowledge of employment law and HR good practice
- Ability to coach and support managers with confidence and clarity
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and relationship‑building skills
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and turn insight into action
- CIPD qualification (Level 5 or working toward Level 7) or equivalent experience
- A collaborative, curious, solutions‑focused approach
