**** Help us create a better future, quicker
** The Case Consultant role sits within the People & Organisation function and provides professional employee relations advice and case management support across Scottish Power UK businesses.
** What you’ll be doing
** You will provide professional employee relations advice and case management support across Scottish Power UK businesses, helping managers apply people policies fairly, consistently and in line with employment legislation and best practice. The role involves managing a wide range of employee relations cases, including grievances, disciplinary matters, attendance management, performance improvement, and appeals, ensuring each case is handled with appropriate judgement, procedural fairness and clear risk assessment.

You will act as a trusted advisor to managers, guiding them through sensitive and complex people issues and supporting early resolution wherever possible to minimise escalation and risk. The role requires close collaboration with People colleagues, internal specialist teams such as Legal and Occupational Health, and external bodies including Trade Unions, ACAS and employment lawyers where required.

You will also contribute to continuous improvement within the People Relations & Case Management service by analysing case trends, sharing insight with stakeholders, supporting policy reviews and delivering training or coaching to managers.
