Reward Specialist

At C&C Group, we're home to some of the UK's and Ireland's most recognised drinks brands, including Tennent's, Bulmers, Magners, Matthew Clark and Bibendum. As our Reward function evolves into a more strategic, data-driven and digitally enabled team, we're looking for an experienced Reward Specialist to play a key role in shaping how we reward, engage and retain our people.

Reporting to the Director of Reward, this is an exciting opportunity for a reward professional with strong expertise in compensation, job architecture and reporting to influence reward strategy across a listed business operating throughout the UK and Ireland.

Location:

Bristol or Glasgow. Working on a hybrid basis of 2 days onsite.

You'll take ownership of a broad range of reward activities, combining strategic thinking with hands-on delivery:

• Lead annual salary and bonus review cycles, developing financial models, tools and recommendations.
• Design and enhance compensation frameworks, including base pay, incentives and bonus schemes.
• Conduct market benchmarking and participate in external salary surveys.
• Manage relationships with reward data providers and ensure accurate data submissions.
• Provide expert advice to HR teams, managers and senior stakeholders on compensation matters.

• Own statutory reward reporting, including Gender Pay Gap reporting and other UK and Irish regulatory requirements.
• Support executive remuneration disclosures and annual reporting requirements.
• Deliver meaningful reward insights through data analysis, modelling and forecasting.
• Monitor emerging legislation and ensure ongoing compliance with evolving reward regulations.

• Lead the development and maintenance of job family structures, grading frameworks and job evaluation processes.
• Ensure consistency and governance across organisational job architecture.

• Partner closely with HR, Finance and business leaders to support reward decision-making.
• Develop clear communication plans that improve transparency and employee understanding of reward programmes.
• Manage external reward consultants, vendors and platforms, driving value and continuous improvement.

We're seeking a highly analytical reward specialist who enjoys using data to influence business decisions and create fair, competitive reward programmes.

• Significant experience in Reward, Compensation or Total Rewards within a medium to large organisation, ideally a PLC.
• Strong knowledge of UK and/or Irish compensation practices and reward legislation.
• Experience managing statutory reporting processes, including Gender Pay Gap reporting and executive remuneration disclosures.
• Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills, with the ability to interpret and present complex data clearly.
• Expertise in job architecture, grading structures and job evaluation methodologies.
• Experience leading salary review processes and compensation benchmarking activities.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, with confidence engaging senior leaders.
• A proactive, hands‑on approach combined with strong strategic and commercial awareness.
