Job Description & How to Apply Below

We are seeking a highly organised, proactive and experienced HR professional to join our team and play a key role in supporting our Trust’s people and HR functions.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about working with people and confident operating in a fast-paced educational environment. As HR Officer, you will support the full employee lifecycle, working closely with the Head of HR, Headteachers and managers across our three schools to provide practical and effective HR support.

A key part of the role will involve managing recruitment and safer recruitment processes, maintaining accurate personnel records and ensuring employment documentation is completed promptly and in line with relevant requirements. You will also provide advice and guidance on HR policies and procedures, support managers with employee relations matters and contribute to a positive and inclusive working environment.

We are looking for someone with previous HR experience, ideally within a school or educational setting, who holds a minimum CIPD Level 3 qualification, with Level 5 desirable. You will have excellent communication and organisational skills, strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities with professionalism, confidentiality and discretion.

The successful candidate will be approachable, solutions-focused and confident in building positive working relationships with colleagues at all levels.

We are committed to supporting flexible working, and there may be opportunities for reduced hours and/or term-time-only working for the right candidate. Flexible working arrangements can be discussed as part of the application process.

Closing Date: Sunday 25 October 2026
Interview Date: Friday 30 October 2026

The successful candidate will be subject to appropriate pre-employment safeguarding checks, including an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, verification of references, right to work checks and any other checks required for the role and in accordance with current legislation and statutory guidance.
