About the roleKinsmen Group is looking for an enthusiastic Systems Administrator to take ownership of day-to-day IT support for our growing team and develop hands-on experience with modern Azure cloud technologies. Reporting to the IT/IS Manager, the Systems Administrator will help ensure our people have the technology, tools, access, and support required to work efficiently while contributing to improvements across our infrastructure. The Systems Administrator will assist with securing and maintaining ISO certification and will assist with cloud operations requirements.

- Triage, route and respond to internal IT requests and incidents.
- Manage user onboarding and offboarding, including hardware, licensing, identity, MFA and permissions.
- Support and maintain computer equipment, peripherals, and productivity tools (e.g. Microsoft 365).
- Monitor and maintain endpoint security policies and updates.
- Maintain and manage IT asset inventory and lifecycle management.
- Ensure timely resolution of internal support tickets and requests with clear communication.
- Assist with maintaining documentation, diagrams, and operational processes.
- Follow access control governance, maintaining least-privilege principles.
- Support vulnerability, patching, and compliance reporting activities.
- Assist in implementation of processes required for necessary accreditations (e.g. ISO 27001)
- Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement, automation, and proactive operations.
Required:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a hands-on IT support role
- Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration
- Familiarity with Azure Entra
- Understanding of endpoint security and MFA
- Strong problem-solving skills and customer-first approach
- Ability to follow operational processes and maintain documentation to a high standard
Preferred:
- Exposure to Azure services (e.g. VMs, app services, monitoring, logs)
- Transforming data into your greatest asset 19
- Familiarity with service desk tooling
- Scripting or automation knowledge (e.g. Powershell)
- Understanding and experience of compliance/security frameworks (e.g. ISO 27001)
- Familiarity with Microsoft Intune or similar MDM
- Familiarity with Microsoft Purview or similar
