About the Organisation

On 1 April 2026, NHS National Services Scotland (NSS) and NHS Education for Scotland (NES) became one national organisation, focused on continuity today and a stronger, more connected service for tomorrow. As part of this transformation, NSS and NES have joined to form Public Services Delivery Scotland (PSD Scotland). This new organisation will play a pivotal role in supporting the renewal and ensuring the long‑term sustainability of health and care services across Scotland.

As a Junior IM&T Technician you are the face of internal general technical support within Public Services Delivery Scotland. You will support the fulfilling of requests, procuring IT related items, triage when necessary to specialist support teams, build networks of contacts, manage onboarding and off‑boarding of members of staff and assist with managing incidents and requests to completion.

• Provide general technical support to internal staff.
• Procure IT related items and coordinate procurement processes.
• Triage support requests and liaise with specialist teams.
• Maintain contact networks for technical support.
• Manage onboarding and off‑boarding of staff members.
• Assist with incident and request resolution to completion.

• Educated to HNC level or equivalent experience in a relevant discipline (e.g. IT Technical Support / Systems administration).
• Strong communication and organisational skills.

Gyle Square, Edinburgh or Delta House, Glasgow. Currently hybrid working. Monday to Friday, 36 hours per week. Applicants must live and remain a resident within the UK and have entitlement to work in the UK for the post.
