As a Junior IM&T Technician you are the face of internal general technical support within Public Services Delivery Scotland. You will support the fulfilling of requests, procuring IT related items, triage when necessary to specialist support teams, build networks of contacts, manage onboarding and off‑boarding of members of staff and assist with managing incidents and requests to completion.

Responsibilities
  • Provide general technical support to internal staff.
  • Procure IT related items and coordinate procurement processes.
  • Triage support requests and liaise with specialist teams.
  • Maintain contact networks for technical support.
  • Manage onboarding and off‑boarding of staff members.
  • Assist with incident and request resolution to completion.
Qualifications
  • Educated to HNC level or equivalent experience in a relevant discipline (e.g. IT Technical Support / Systems administration).
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
Location and Working Pattern

Gyle Square, Edinburgh or Delta House, Glasgow. Currently hybrid working. Monday to Friday, 36 hours per week. Applicants must live and remain a resident within the UK and have entitlement to work in the UK for the post.
