Agile Business Analyst - Consultant​/Senior Consultant - Digital Excellence

Your Role

As a Digital Business Analyst Consultant, you will be joining the growing and exciting Digital Factory community that shares knowledge and expertise. You will help clients understand, design and deliver digital products and services.

• Help clients understand and explore how, where and why to apply new digital technologies & platforms.
• Advise, design and deliver excellent products and services for our clients to transform their businesses and deliver real value.
• Play a pivotal role in end‑to‑end user centred design projects, working between design, product, development and test.
• Work as part of a multi‑disciplinary Agile Scrum team, responsible for understanding user needs, working closely with business partners, translating problems or requirements into user stories and defining acceptance criteria.
• Be highly customer focused and responsible for building stakeholder relationships and using analytical thinking, problem‑solving and communication skills to help achieve the Scrum teams' goals.

Required skills and experience:

• Experience in user‑centred product or service development projects.
• Experience working in a multi‑disciplinary Agile Scrum team, facilitating and supporting end‑to‑end delivery from research and design through to development and testing.
• Experience with Government Digital Service (GDS) service standards.
• Ability to lead the translation of user needs and business requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Ability to act as an intermediary between business requirements and user needs, and between waterfall and Agile delivery.
• Proficiency in requirements capturing tools such as JIRA.
• Experience in technical business analysis with familiarity of architectural concepts such as microservice and legacy architecture, APIs and cloud infrastructure.
• Aptitude for building highly collaborative internal and external stakeholder relationships, conflict management and influencing key stakeholders.
• Ability to support and lead scrum team activities and ceremonies, ensuring delivery of team goals.
• Analytical thinking, problem‑solving and communication skills.

Desirable:

• Experience across different sectors, including Public Sector, Utilities, Financial Services, Consumer Products and Retail.
• Experience supporting internal operations of teams: recruitment, client development, line management, deliveries, trainings and mentoring.
• Certifications in Business Analysis, Agile Delivery, User Centred Design, etc.
