Overview

Join us at Barclays as a Scrum Master and play a key role in supporting the delivery of impactful data initiatives within our UK Corporate Chief Data Analytics Office Delivery team. In this position, you will work closely with cross‑functional teams, helping to facilitate collaboration, remove blockers and enable the successful delivery of strategic priorities, while supporting change delivery and promoting effective data practices across the organisation.

This role is based in Glasgow.

Qualifications
  • Experience supporting planning and delivery across internal teams and initiatives, designing and executing solutions.
  • Understanding of data and records management within a financial institution and its business impact.
  • Experience in stakeholder engagement and building collaborative relationships.
  • Familiarity with scaled Agile ways of working and practical knowledge of using Jira.
  • Ability to help document the impact of change and present options clearly.
  • Strong communication skills, capable of working across and connecting with different teams and departments.
  • Experience using AI to enhance and improve business processes.
Responsibilities
  • Facilitate Scrum events, ensuring they are productive, timeboxed and positive.
  • Support iteration execution, maintain backlog refinement, and iterate on stakeholder feedback.
  • Identify and remove impediments, using metrics to make all work visible and promote effective communication.
  • Identify and mitigate risks, escalating as necessary to shield the team from interruptions.
  • Build and coach high‑performing Agile teams, encouraging constant improvement and stakeholder collaboration.
  • Represent the team in governance forums and provide data quality reporting where required.
