Salary: £66,100 - £99,100 + car /car allowance + performance-related bonus and a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.

The roleThe Digital Technology Manager plays a key role in shaping the technology organisation’s transition into a modern, product-aligned, Dev Ops-led environment. This role champions improvements in ways of working, tooling, and engineering practices, while thoughtfully embedding automation and AI-enabled capabilities into delivery and operations.
The role helps ensure that technology delivery remains closely aligned with customer outcomes, regulatory commitments, and wider business priorities. It provides oversight across a portfolio of digital initiatives, supporting efficient delivery, strong governance, and clear value realisation.
You will- Guide the evolution toward a Dev Ops-first operating model, encouraging CI/CD, automation, cloud-native practices, and AI-enabled tooling.
- Oversee portfolio delivery and governance, helping to ensure effective and well-coordinated execution across the delivery lifecycle.
- Connect delivery activity to business outcomes and customer commitments.
- Lead, develop, and support high-performing teams, creating an environment where people can thrive.
- Manage suppliers, commercial disciplines, compliance, and regulatory requirements with care and consistency.
- Strong experience in Dev Ops, cloud platforms, and modern engineering practices, including AI-enabled tools and automation.
- Proven portfolio and delivery management capability, with experience prioritising initiatives and guiding day-to-day delivery decisions.
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills, with line management responsibility for multidisciplinary teams.
- Experience leading digital transformation initiatives and identifying the most appropriate tools and platforms.
- Experience contributing to technology delivery budgets and taking shared accountability for successful delivery.
