As a Solutions Analyst III in Payments Technology ‑ UAT, you will provide test management and supervision for the Payments Technology LOB in a cross‑business, cross‑functional project‑based environment and support the strategic roll‑out of an automated testing solution.
Job Responsibilities- Lead a test team, supervising daily activities, allocating duties, resolving testing issues, and communicating regularly with the reporting manager.
- Provide accurate testing estimates within daily scrum calls.
- Plan requirements against an end‑to‑end test strategy, including test data, environments, defect management, and test automation.
- Lead daily scrum calls and deputize for the Program Test Manager in fortnightly Delivery Working Group meetings.
- Manage stakeholder and team expectations during end‑to‑end test execution.
- Identify testing automation opportunities and synergies within the project.
- Complete a knowledge audit/matrix for each team member, document gaps, and ensure all UAT skills are transferable across the team.
- Escalate daily issues to the Program Test Manager and manage expectations regarding testing and project timelines.
- Document and execute test scenarios; write test scripts using Business‑Driven Development examples such as Gherkin.
- Partner closely with Operations, Product, and Technology groups.
- Monitor and report testing defects and the re‑testing process.
- Validate and present test results for internal sign‑off.
- Organize and oversee critical testing tasks accurately and meet tight deadlines.
- Apply expertise in Agile project delivery methodology and adapt to evolving methodologies.
- Bachelor’s degree with relevant experience or equivalent expertise.
- Experience with Cucumber/Gherkin and Python; ability to troubleshoot, resolve and maintain these tools.
- Functional knowledge of the Payments domain and testing processes to define requirements, document user stories, and test scripts through to execution.
- Experience with test automation tools to enable efficient end‑to‑end test execution.
- Ability to work independently on day‑to‑day activities with minimal supervision.
- Strong organizational skills, managing critical testing tasks and meeting deadlines.
- Skilled at problem‑solving, scoping complex issues, learning unfamiliar processes and providing timely remediation.
- Excellent attention to detail to prevent errors and highlight redundancies or opportunities.
- Capability to see the overall context, identify improvement opportunities and recommend actions.
- Use effective data‑driven reporting to support program reporting.
- Strong communication skills to provide clear verbal updates to team members, senior leads, executives and clients.
- Empathetic liaison between lines of business to achieve common strategic goals.
- Contribution to program updates, project and team meetings.
- Experience with Business‑Driven Development or Test‑Driven Development test methodology or test case automation.
- Experience with Cucumber/Gherkin and Python.
- Ability to identify opportunities to accelerate and synergize testing processes for assigned projects and share information with team members.
- Relevant testing experience within the Financial Services industry supporting multiple LOBs in a highly complex, high‑volume environment.
- Advanced numeracy and Microsoft skills; proficiency with PowerPoint/Pitch Pro to create professional slides and structure presentations with minimal input.
