Purpose of the role

To support the organisation, achieve its strategic objectives by identifying business requirements and solutions that address business problems and opportunities.

• Identification and analysis of business problems and client requirements that require change within the organisation.
• Development of business requirements that will address business problems and opportunities.
• Collaboration with stakeholders to ensure that proposed solutions meet their needs and expectations.
• Support the creation of business cases that justify investment in proposed solutions.
• Conduct feasibility studies to determine the viability of proposed solutions.
• Support the creation of reports on project progress to ensure proposed solutions are delivered on time and within budget.
• Creation of operational design and process design to ensure that proposed solutions are delivered within the agreed scope.
• Support change‑management activities, including development of a traceability matrix to ensure proposed solutions are successfully implemented and embedded in the organisation.

• Contribute or set strategy, drive requirements and make recommendations for change.
• Plan resources, budgets, and policies; manage and maintain policies/processes; deliver continuous improvements and report breaches of policies or procedures.
• Lead teams or work as a subject‑matter expert, advising functional leadership and senior management on cross‑functional impact and alignment.
• Manage and mitigate risks through assessment in support of the control and governance agenda.
• Demonstrate comprehensive understanding of organisational functions to achieve business goals.
• Collaborate with other areas of work to stay aligned with business activity and strategies.

• Data transformation & regulatory analysis – ability to translate rules into data logic, perform gap analysis.
• End‑to‑end data analysis – ensure completeness, accuracy and timeliness of data consumption in the Large Holdings estate and support simplification of the data model.
• BAU legacy remediation resolution – ensure effective coordination across Ops and upstream Tech to resolve legacy issues and deliver aligned outcomes.
• Platform transformation exposure – understanding of legacy to strategic migration and risk mitigation.
• Delivery / project discipline – planning, prioritisation, Jira governance and tracking to keep outcomes within the workstream.
• Technical/data fluency related to equities business – data architecture, data validation, and ability to support SIT/UAT and investigate issues.
• Risk and controls knowledge, communication skills, and stakeholder interaction.
