Production Database Administrator

Salary: £51,637 - 51,637 per year

• We require you to have been resident in the UK for a minimum of five years immediately prior to applying for this role.
• We are seeking an experienced Production Database Administrator.
• We would welcome experience working with enterprise database systems and services within an ICT environment.
• We would value experience working with suppliers and project teams on application implementations, patches, upgrades, and third-line troubleshooting.

• We design, develop, administer, programme, support, and maintain enterprise database systems and services in line with agreed standards.
• We help provide strategic coordination of these technologies across our wider ICT environment within Police Scotland and the SPA.
• We work with suppliers and project teams to manage the implementation of applications, application patches, and upgrades.
• We provide third-line troubleshooting support.
• We support an upgrade project migrating our Computer Aided Dispatch software to a current level to improve dispatch accuracy and frontline response capability.
