Senior Security Specialist – Permanent – Glasgow (Hybrid) - £70k

Change Digital are seeking a Senior Security Specialist to join our clients Information Security team and help strengthen cyber defence capabilities across a global environment.

Working closely with IT teams, stakeholders and third-party partners, you will play a key role in threat detection, vulnerability management, incident response and the ongoing development of security operations.

• Manage and monitor endpoint security tools and vulnerability management processes.
• Investigate, triage and respond to security incidents and cyber threats.
• Conduct threat hunting using SIEM and EDR technologies.
• Support penetration testing and remediation activities.
• Develop and improve incident response plans and security procedures.
• Produce security metrics, reports and risk assessments.
• Contribute to cyber security strategy, standards and operational improvements.

You’ll have:

• Experience in Cyber Security, Security Operations or Information Security.
• Strong knowledge of threat management, incident response and vulnerability management.
• Hands‑on experience with SIEM, EDR and security monitoring tools.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• The ability to communicate security risks to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.

Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, Security+ or equivalent would be advantageous.
