Security isn’t always the first thing that comes to mind when you think of BT, but when it comes to keeping everyone safely connected, we must protect our systems. This role offers a challenging opportunity to work with a dedicated security design team and contribute to protecting BT, its customers and communities from cyber‑attacks.

• Provide technical oversight and leadership of a new customer contract, aligning to the contract security schedule.
• Provide security design authority for complex solutions and/or platform designs during customer workshops, capturing requirements, translating into designs, and identifying relevant documentation sets required to underpin the solution.
• Create security architectures, high‑ and low‑level designs, processes, procedures, local work instructions while meeting relevant industry security standards and controls.
• Provide security design assurance for complex solutions and/or platform designs.
• Work with the customer to understand their threat landscape and risks.
• Minimise the customer’s risk exposure through high‑class vulnerability management solutions and security penetration testing.
• Create a technical security roadmap for the customer, area or domain and present it at technical customer forums.

• Strong stakeholder management skills.
• Experience architecting and delivering large‑scale, complex, technical projects.
• Experience architecting solutions across cloud platform infrastructures.
• Strong technical skills across a broad range of technologies.
• Working knowledge of at least one of the following:
  ForcePoint, Cisco ISE, Check Point firewalls, Netscaler load balancers, Broadcom identity‑management solutions, Darktrace.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Sentinel SIEM and agreements.
• Vulnerability management solutions.
• IP networking.
• Awareness of emerging security trends, threats, risks and technologies.

• Experience identifying, developing, and delivering growth opportunities.
• Experience driving efficiency through use of designs, orchestration, and automation.
• Certifications:
  
  CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional), CCSP (Certified Cloud Security Professional).
