Your Role

As a Technical Business Analyst Consultant, you will be joining the growing and exciting Digital Excellence community who are continually sharing knowledge and expertise. We are all passionate about user‑centred design, critical thinking, problem solving and designing and building digital services and products.

Our Technical BAs work on client projects across multiple industries, driving technology projects that enhance operational efficiency, delight users, and deliver measurable business value. You will act as a bridge between business and IT, leveraging your expertise in software architecture and backend frameworks to shape technical features and requirements that meet client objectives and user needs. While not directly involved in software development, your role will bring both business insight and technical depth, ensuring that each solution is robust, scalable, and aligned with organisational needs and best practices.

As a Technical Business Analyst you will:

  • Translate business objectives and requirements into valuable technical features and user stories that will shape product development and technical delivery
  • Leverage your understanding of IT Delivery Frameworks and Dev Ops practices to facilitate CI/CD pipelines, ensuring smooth and efficient delivery
  • Conduct system and data analysis to identify improvement areas and pain points to inform decision making
  • Support the management of product roadmap, prioritisation, and backlog refinement, working collaboratively with product owners, developers, architects and QATs

Your Profile

You will bring below skills and experience:

  • Experience in the technical design and development of technology‑based products
  • Experience working with technical architecture and owning technical writing
  • Experience in data analysis, data modelling, and data visualisation tools (e.g. SQL, Excel, Tableau, PowerBI etc.)
  • Willingness to work with database schemas and perform data manipulation tasks such as cleaning, transformation and aggregation
  • Ability to facilitate end‑to‑end delivery, from research and solution design through to development, testing and release
  • Ability to build, refine and prioritise an agile backlog for technical implementation
  • Ability to adapt to different delivery methodologies such as Scrum, SAFe and Waterfall
  • Interest in contributing to capability growth and community development
  • Ability to operate in fast‑paced environments with ambiguity and changing priorities

Ideally, you would also have:

  • Experience across Public Sector, Utilities, Financial Services,…
