Job Description Purpose of the role

To develop, implement, and maintain effective governance frameworks for all data and records across the bank's global operations.

Accountabilities
  • Development and maintenance of a comprehensive data and records governance framework aligned with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Monitoring data quality and records metrics and compliance with standards across the organization.
  • Identification and addressing of data and records management risks and gaps.
  • Development and implementation of a records management programme that ensures the proper identification, classification, storage, retention, retrieval and disposal of records.
  • Development and implementation of a data governance strategy that aligns with the bank's overall data management strategy and business objectives.
  • Provision of Group wide guidance and training on Data and Records Management standard requirements.

Join us at Barclays as a Group Data and Records Strategy and Transformation Analyst. You will play a key role in supporting the delivery of strategic data and records management initiatives across the organisation. Working with business and technology stakeholders, you will help drive transformation activities, promote Agile ways of working and contribute to the development of effective data governance and records management practices.

You must have the following essential skills:

  • Scrum Master experience with a advanced understanding of Agile delivery and team facilitation.
  • Financial Services background with knowledge of regulatory and operational environments.
  • Ample communication skills with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.

Some other highly valued skills may include:

  • Data Management background covering governance, quality, or records management.
  • Agile tooling experience using tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or Azure Dev Ops.
  • Stakeholder management skills with the ability to build effective cross-functional relationships.

You may be assessed on the key critical skills relevant for success in role, such as risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen strategic thinking and digital and technology, as well as job-specific technical skills.

This role has the option to work from either Glasgow or Knutsford.
