EY FSO Technology Consulting is expanding its Digital Engineering and Dev Ops capability to support financial services clients with secure, automated and reliable software delivery. This Senior Consultant role is for a practical hands‑on engineer who can set up projects, automate pipelines, support cloud environments and collaborate with development, operations, security and client teams to improve delivery speed, resilience and control.

• Set up and configure new projects in Azure Dev Ops, Git Hub, Git Lab or comparable Dev Ops platforms, including repositories, branching models, permissions and access controls.
• Design, build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, code quality, security scanning, release approvals and deployment across development, test, staging and production environments.
• Create and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Bicep or ARM templates, supporting repeatable provisioning of cloud infrastructure and platform components.
• Build and support containerised workloads using Docker and Kubernetes, including deployments, manifests, Helm charts, configuration, secrets and environment‑specific release workflows.
• Configure cloud environments on Microsoft Azure, with awareness of networking, identity, security, monitoring, storage and platform services relevant to application delivery.
• Integrate automated testing, code quality gates, vulnerability scanning and compliance controls into pipelines, working with development, QA and security teams.
• Troubleshoot deployment failures, pipeline issues, Kubernetes errors, environment defects and production support incidents, documenting root cause and preventive actions.
• Maintain deployment documentation, operating procedures, runbooks, environment diagrams and handover notes for client and EY delivery teams.
• Work in Agile squads with product owners, developers, architects, QA, security, SRE and operations teams to support reliable end‑to‑end software delivery.
• Contribute to reusable Dev Ops templates, platform patterns, engineering standards and automation accelerators across EY FSO Digital Engineering.

Skill Area

Microsoft Azure hands‑on experience, Azure App Services, Azure Functions, AKS, Azure SQL, Storage, Key Vault, Azure Monitor and cloud environment setup

Terraform required;
Bicep, ARM templates, modular infrastructure patterns, state management, reusable modules and environment promotion

Docker, Kubernetes, AKS preferred, kubectl, Helm, container registries, secrets/config maps, pod diagnostics and deployment troubleshooting

Power Shell, Bash, Python or Azure CLI for automation, remediation, deployment support and operational tooling

Sonar Qube or similar, SAST/DAST/SCA concepts, secrets management, policy‑as‑code awareness and secure SDLC practices

Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Log Analytics, Grafana, Prometheus or comparable monitoring/logging tools, incident support and RCA

Jira or Azure Boards, sprint ceremonies, backlog support, technical documentation, collaboration with distributed delivery teams

Experience working in banking, insurance, capital markets, risk, finance or other regulated technology environments is preferred.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT or a related discipline, or equivalent hands‑on experience.
